Home-Start is proud to be joining forces with a host of UK charities to help launch #LittleGoodDeed – a campaign reminding everyone that small acts of kindness can go a long way to help parents and carers that are isolated, overworked and under supported.

As the COVID-19 crisis continues, many families are finding things tough – financially, socially, emotionally, with lots reaching crisis point.  Limitations on family support and networks, coupled with the closure of public services and spaces is making parenting in lockdown particularly hard.

The #LittleGoodDeed campaign aims to encourage public engagement by inviting people to ‘reach out and help’ parents of babies and toddlers that might be struggling.  The aim is to remind us all that small acts of kindness can go a long way to help parents who are over-stretched.

We hope people will be inspired to do a #LitleGood Deed for a parent or carer having a tricky time – to reach out, check in and ask what they need.  It might help someone out.  It might make someone smile.  It might just make a big difference.
