How you can help us

Home-Start Spelthorne currently receives funding from Spelthorne Borough Council but we are responsible for raising all the funds to make up the shortfall required to run our home-visiting family support service. Our shortfall is over £50,000. The competition for funding has always been fierce and is even more so now due to the current economic climate. This has necessitated Home-Start Spelthorne searching for new avenues of funding. There are various ways in which you can help contribute financially to our charity.
We are always happy to offer help and support to individuals or companies looking to hold fundraising events on our behalf. From tea parties to quiz nights to sponsored walks, all sorts of different events can be a way of raising funds to support our work. If you have any great ideas about fundraising events please contact us!

What your donation would mean to us…
When isolation began, parents expressed their worries and concerns about looking after and feeding their children. It is an ongoing worry.
With over 2,000 babies born every day, new parents are stuck at home and have no one to help them through what is already an uncertain time.
We need your help more than ever to be able to support families in Spelthorne.
A £15 donation would cover a volunteer’s expenses for a month.
£10 would help us support a struggling family with practical goods, e.g. nappies and baby food.
£25 donation would help us support a family for a week.
If anyone feels they are able.
£300 would enable us to support and supervise a Home-visiting Volunteer for a year.
£250 would enable us to recruit and train a Home-visiting Volunteer.
And the big one.
£1500 would enable us to support a family for one year.
