So far this year we have raised £10,817.81…which is amazing.
But, as ever, there is always a predicted deficit between our anticipated funding and our expenditure. Sadly, for the first time in 28 years, we no longer receive any funding from Surrey County Council.
When our Finance Sub-Committee met in April 2024, it was agreed that the Home-Start Spelthorne fundraising target for 2024-25 will be £50,000. Although this still leaves us a potential shortage going into 2025-26.
We remain optimistic and are keeping our fingers crossed.
