Today we celebrated our incredible volunteers for Volunteer’s Week! It was an extra special occasion as we honored two trustees, Jenny Sice and Anne Damerell, for 30 years of volunteering each. We also recognized three long-standing home-visiting volunteers: Isobel (27 years), Di (25 years), and Tracy (25 years), who collectively have supported families for an astonishing 77 years!
We’ve lost count of the countless families and children they’ve positively impacted, yet they’d humbly say, “I didn’t really do anything.” Their dedication is truly inspiring.
A huge thank you also to our wonderful hosts at Stanwell Events who welcomed us to their new Community Building and delighted us with an incredible lunch. We were also so lucky to be supported by Sophia, who joined us on her corporate volunteering day.
