We have just about recovered from Christmas, but it was a big success! December was incredibly busy pulling together all the gifts for our families. Our JustGiving Christmas Appeal raised £845 (+£151.25 gift aid) which we were able to spend on items that we know our families need.
We were lucky to be the chosen charity for Primark. Their customers and staff bought clothes, blankets and other much needed items. We also received toys and gifts from BUPA employees, Foresters Financial and Mission Christmas.
Thank you Di Lewis who bought the Christmas gift bags and Kevin and Anne Bulfin who donated money for gift vouchers for our most needy families.
Lastly, a massive thank you to everyone who braved the streets and took part in the Christmas Rotary collections in Staines and Shepperton.
We recently received a cheque from Shepperton and Sunbury Rotary for £595.
Such generosity is overwhelming.
