We at Home-Start Spelthorne have, out of respect to the Queen, decided not to participate in this event.
We are looking forward to taking part in the upcoming Staines South Jumble Trail on Sunday 11th September selling homemade baked goods and refreshments outside our offices at Staines Park. Whether you are following the trail or just enjoying some time in the park please visit our stall for a treat (or two) from 10:30am-2:30pm (while stocks last).
Not heard of a Jumble Trail? It’s like a car boot sale but it takes place in your neighbourhood. Anyone who has something to sell is encouraged to set up a stall outside their house at an agreed date and time, while any buyers walk around their neighbourhood looking for bargains. Jumble trails became popular during lockdown and there are similar jumble trails taking place regularly in Ashford, Stanwell and Laleham – search Facebook for more info. We think they are a great way to recycle, save money and get to know your neighbours.
