We were honoured to welcome the Worshipful Mayor of the Borough of Spelthorne, Cllr John Doran, and the Worshipful Mayoress, Cllr Sue Doran.
During the meeting, we took the opportunity to recognise and celebrate several of our long-standing staff and volunteers, including three individuals who played a key role in establishing Home-Start Spelthorne nearly 30 years ago: Mandy Groves, Scheme Manager; Anne Damerell, Trustee; and Jenny Sice, who has kindly agreed to become our Patron.
We also celebrated Di Lewis, who has been one of our exceptional home-visiting volunteers for an outstanding 25 years.
It was inspiring to hear from one of our newer volunteers, who shared her experience of joining Home-Start Spelthorne and supporting her first family.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended our AGM, and a special thank you to Anna-Marie and the team at Stanwell Events for hosting us in their wonderful community venue.
